As comic book movies become more of the norm and less of an anomaly we have seen many of the Key issues that relate to these hot Hollywood properties get scooped up by collectors and put them directly on eBay at sometimes ridiculous prices.
Below are just some examples of previously unthought of titles are now being sold at crazy prices. Obviously some people are buying them. Lets hope you have some of these Key Issues and if you do you sell them before the movie they are based on sucks at the box office. Eventually, the public’s taste for men in tights will fade like it did in the late 40’s and superheroes will once again be looked at like a genre for little kids and simpletons.
In every era there are affordable Key Issues. Many of the “Guardian of the Galaxy” Key Issues were exceedingly affordable until the movie was announced. The trick is to get them before the announcements or at the same time.
ALL of the Rocket Raccoon appearances were bargain bin at best. At worst the mini-series was just thrown away. Look at these issues now. They are all bringing in very good money. The comic appearance in the Incredible Hulk was certainly an issue no one cared about in their collections. Now, it is going for over a hundred dollars and it isn’t even Rocket Raccoon’s first appearance.
