As comic book movies become more of the norm and less of an anomaly we have seen many of the Key issues that relate to these hot Hollywood properties get scooped up by collectors and put them directly on eBay at sometimes ridiculous prices.
Below are just some examples of previously unthought of titles are no attempting to be sold at crazy prices. Obviously some people are buying them. Lets hope you have some of these Key Issues or if you do you sell them before the movie they are based on sucks at the box office. Eventually, the public’s taste for men in tights will fade like it did in the late 40’s and superheroes will once again be looked up like a genre for little kids and simpletons.
In terms of what the trends themselves are: Go no further than the upcoming slate of DC Comics Movies and TV shows and the mirror Marvel properties. Another good aspect of the industry to watch is looking at the great writers books along with the great story lines in comics.
